Moneycorp Spain was founded as TTT Moneycorp in 1962. By 1979 we had obtained a Bank of England licence to operate bureaux de change in Central London – and we’ve not looked back since. From the humble beginnings of one small branch, we’ve grown to become a leading non-bank provider of foreign exchange services, providing:
- Commercial foreign exchange services for corporate and private clients.
- Retail bureaux de change at many locations across the UK.
- Online travel money and prepaid currency cards.
- Wholesale foreign exchange services (bulk delivery of physical currency).
Our foreign exchange and money transfer services have always been available to customer anywhere in the world. But when we noticed that more and more of our clients were doing business between Spain and the UK, we decided the best way to serve them was to have a physical presence in Spain.
In 2001 Moneycorp Spain opened our Costa del Sol office, followed in 2003 by a second office in the Costa Blanca. From here we’re able to deal with personal clients and affiliate partners across the whole of Spain, including the Balearic Islands, Tenerife and Gibraltar. Both offices also have native English speakers who live permanently in Spain and have first-hand personal experience of transferring money overseas. We understand many people have concerns when transferring money overseas for the first time. But we’re here to make life easier by helping you make the right choices and get more for your money.
Making regular payments to Spain with Moneycorp Spain
We offer services for customers who need to make regular transfers from the UK to Spain – such as a mortgage, pension contributions, school fees or utility bills. These regular payments can be arranged through a Regular Payment Plan (RPP). This removes the hassle and inconvenience of making individual transfers, and once set up by Direct Debit from your UK account, you’ll receive euros in your Spanish account at a frequency of your choosing.
